This design is inspired by a Kenyan proverb found on a cloth worn by women in East Africa and often used to carry babies on their backs. Even though 99% of babies are breastfed in Kenya, this Swahili proverb celebrates the value of women and the value of breastfeeding. Read more about this design or order online. The October 6 conference will feature researcher Dr. Elsie Tavares speaking about provider attitudes, and neonatologist/IBCLC Dr. Kathleen Marinelli on delayed lactogenesis.
